Felicity Chen works at the intersection of film, game, documentary, and creative technology. Her work explores how interactive and digital storytelling can foster empathy and inclusion.
Through hybrid forms of cinematic and immersive expression, she creates spaces where underrepresented voices can be heard and where imagination becomes a tool for solidarity.
Immersive Documentary
01VR Documentary — In Development
Based on lived experiences from VRChat: two young individuals grew up under rigid gender norms in China and Russia, living as impostors; an autistic woman in the Netherlands, overwhelmed by a world her mind processes differently. Three lives confined by invisible walls, until they discover the transformative potential of virtual bodies and social spaces within VR.
What if they can become anything they want with no real consequences?
