Felicity Chen

XR Filmmaker | Experience Designer & Audio Designer

With a degree in Drama and Film Studies and a Master’s in Immersive Factual Storytelling, her filmmaking journey began in China, was nurtured in the UK, and has since ventured into the realms of virtual imagination. Her work delves into the diversity and nuances of female experiences, queerness and shared spaces that brought people closer, blending the embodiment of role-playing games with the intimacy of audio storytelling.

She is selected as an Alternative Reality Artist at Sheffield DocFest 2025. Her current project in development, Persona, is an immersive documentary that was selected by Biennale College Cinema Immersive and will premiere at the Venice Film Festival in August 2026.
